January 6, 2011 - 02:28

HokieGreg reviews a $1100 + 30 buyin level heads up sng in a replayer. He discusses topics such as barreling multi streets against passive players, 3-bet ranges against players that fold to too many 3-bets and using aggression on different board textures in limped pots.

Awesome vid as usual hokie. I love how you take things further and talk about your plan for the hand which is so very important...
22 min Q6cc: This was one spot you didn't really go into what your plan was here if he did diff things vs your minlead, or turn/river play. It was his 2nd limp and also the second time you had lead (even though the instances were like 40 hands apart). Any thoughts? (Just got to 25 mins where you said you won't be 3bet jamming over his 3x that wide @ 21BB's, I guess KTs is your absolute value cutoff?)
22 min KTss: Is this really standard for you to 3b jam 25BB's against someone who is not opening a high frequency but 3x seems to be their std sizing? What other marginal type hands would you be jamming in this spot had he 3x?

Why not barrel turn half pot to get value from FD, 7x?

What do you think about c/r instead of lead on the flop? We give him a chance to stab with his whole range. If he calls we have a lot of equity and there are decent amount of turn cards that we can barrel - 9, T, J, A, any club. We can c/c on Q.

Great video. I met this guy at 570 last night right after watching this video, very tight indeed :p

How did you do against him Xereles?
Xereles says:
2-2 I think. He berated me hard for shoving AQo over his 3bet(it was early on) so I think it is fair to say that that is actually too light vs him, as an example of him being a nit.
