nice video Borg!

at 22:22: what about leading turn? The A perfectly hits your range and you should be able to make fold 6x type hands

Borg7 says:

Oh shit, I'm sorry that I only saw your comment now, kaiserzozz. :-(

When we lead the turn, we could fold out a 6x but often a 6 will call a turn barrel and only fold to a 2nd barrel on the river. A double barrel won't be good EV for us though because he definitely also has some Jx in his range which will probably call our river bet with as well in which case we lose a pretty big pot. For those reasons, I prefer just checking it down and not turning our showdown value into a bluff in that spot.

I hope my explaination is satisfactory. Again, sorry for the slow response.

Hello Borg,

dont worry for the late in the response; I think an email notification system would be nice for comments on vids (maybe already exists and I didn't found yet the option to activate in my account).

Anyway, thanks a lot for your explanation, watching again the hand it makes perfectly sense to me.

Thanks again!

Paolo

Members can PM coaches to notify them of comments.

Whenever we get caught up on a laundry list of other website add ons we'd like to get up, we'll of course look into optimizing that system.

For now, I'm just going to remind coaches to check their comments every so often and remind members to PM coaches with a link to their updated comment.

It appears to not be an issue on newer videos, most coaches keep updated on those (like Borg did here, he apologized but that's a reasonable turnaround in my mind and I think you agree too).  Some of those older videos though, questions do go unanswered, especially when the question is vague/doesn't mention time stamp or context or is a very general question.

But I just wanted to mostly say that we're aware of this and it's not something we're not purposely addressing and that we don't think it's a perfect system either.

thanks Ryan for your quick feedback!

it's for sure a reasonable turnaround from Borg :)

I agree, the "problem" comes on some older videos (maybe videos older than 3-4 months) and I'm sure it will be addressed in the future
