Hi Fydor,

Nice video, I particularly like the K5 hand at 04:55 where you explain about checking the flop where you've hit your top pair to allow him to bluff on the turn. Nice idea and something I probably wouldn't have thought about before.

Cheers,
John

Nice video Fydor :)

Like others have said, I like your reasoning in the K5 hands, and use the same line a lot myself. Works like a charm :)

The K5hh intrigued me as well. I'm assuming you called with such a marginal hand here with the intention of playing back at many flops?

I enjoyed the video, however I think the live play format is not the best content wise. You only get about 4/5 interesting hands, and not enough time to discuss them. Of course, they are interesting, to see how game flow works, for timing tells, and to pick at your brain live, but I think other formats are more instructive.

I think the opposite - in live games you don't have 3 minutes to discuss a hand but when do you have that amount of time during a reg sng?  I think players should be learning how to play better instinctively because this is what you will be doing out in the real world of SNGs

Solid video "5 Stars"

I took several good notes and there's lots of information I can use to improve my games.

Explanations are great and understandable.

Hey Fydor, really good video. A few questions...

1st the K5s hand where you called a 3bet (at 04:30). I know a few peolpe mentioned this hand already, but wondering what your plan was post if you missed the flop. I think we could assume that the 1st villain was pretty aggressive ad was 3betting a pretty wide range (frequency - but over a small sample), but isn't Kx gonna be dominated often in a 3bet pot? (guess this depends if they are 3betting a polarized vs merged range, but we don't really have a read here). Also, I'm assuming you plan on calling not just to hit a pair but possibly make a move in a 3bet pot - what sort of flops are you looking for?

2nd - you seem to really utilize the go and go, rather than 3bet/pushing. This is pretty interesting. However - if we raise 1/2 our stack, aren't we putting villain in a spot where they either have to shove or fold? Doesn't this make the go and go the equivalent of a shove (as we are pricing ourselves in to call any shove)? I can't really see any opponent except for major callstations calling your 3bet, and once they do they may feel obligated to call your flop push as they have invested so many chips..... however for the very small % chance that they do call your 3bet and fold to a flop push then I guess it's worth it over a 3betpush. Considering this last point isn't it going to be better to use the go and go as a standard, rather than 3bet pushing? 1 last thing - would you recommend usiing the go and go for all your monsters as well - like QQ+?

3rd - just wanted to comment on your decision to play relatively tight with 10bb's until the nex blind increase - really liked that and never gave it much thought until your video.
