First post on forums and questions about Adjusting Ranges

Hi, I´m new here and  I started to learn HUSNG last month. I used to play Cash games  nl 200 years ago but stopped when Full tilt crashed. Now I cameback to the game with the idea to play HUSNG. So I started to play 1.5 and doing well, but i feel i bounced once i started to play 30. I Have a roi of only 3.6% on 423 tournaments. Which I know it´s not terrible but clearly far from a great results for such low buy in tournament. So googling I found this site a few days ago and Started watchign videos and read the Great Ebook avaialble for free.

After reading the book and trying stuff and the videos, in thee last 23 tournaments I managed a Roi of 66% (I know super small sample/variance). But I really feel the ebook help me a lot on how to think about HU, basically because i was a player that wanted to find a way to automate my play as much as possible (because i felt that was needed when 12 tabling at nl200). And realize how bad is that at HUSNG turbo (that may still be viable at hyper mass tablings, but Im not interested in that kind of stuff)

I tell all this to know what level of understanding of the game you may expect from me.

Anyway. To the questions, My major problem with all the theory, and specially from the ebook, is that While I grasped how and when to adjust your ranges. it´s hard for me to understand by how much.

I have special troubles with facing 3bet from the SB for example.

My current solution is tighten my opening range in SB to around 60% vs players that do it 30%+ , Calling with around 16% of my range, And 4bet jamming Axs, AJo+ and pairs.

This leads me to the following questions.

1) Is better to tighten the opening range or just widening the flatting range(In addition to widen the 4betting range which the ebook clearly states). I assume both, but if so, to have an idea what opening range, and what calling range would be around good for 25+BB:

a)A player that 3bets 30% of the hand 2.5x and seems aggressive enough , but we don´t have great information to play great against double and triple barrels.

b) A player that 3bets 20% of the hand 3x and Cbets a lot

c) a player that 3bets 35% of the time and seems to cbet around half the time and check call/raise/fold the other half, and is willing to be kind of wild?

I know that there are many variables that im not considering and not stating, but I want to have a GENERAL idea of ranges. For example what does it mean to tighten the opening range? My standard opening range is around 90%. Should i drop it to 80%?, 75 60? 50? 40? 25?

2) What would be approximate flatting ranges in BB for players with different opening ranges in 25+BB?

30%, 50%, 65% 75%, 90%.  Assuming they they all have around 75% cbet and are fairly solid. Also what 3betting strategies are good vs those ranges?

Anyway That´s all for now. I understand that there are more variables that should be accounted, i know whatever answer won´t be precise I need to have ROUGH ideas, adjusting from no point of reference at all is very hard from me.

My constant problem in the videos and even i the ebook is that players say things like ¨ you need to be more tight here¨ but is hard for me to know what even being more tight even looks like!
