EV line causing subconscious tilt?

Been a while since i played hypers, but i've been doing study off the tables as i was just trying to run before i could crawl!

Anyway i noticed that i was always checking my EV after every game at hypers and even in 6max games. Constantly i would alt tab, refresh and see the good or bad news.

I didn't think much of it at the time untill i started watching #grindingitup with xflixx. He basically says he does not have his EV line visible because of the issues it causes when you think you should of won. Which makes sense, as humans we are programmed to react when we dont get what we think we deserve. It's also been proven in monkeys which are near identical to us.

Now as poker players you are in these situations daily and as humans we all have that breaking point somewhere. So maybe just the act at glancing at your ev line affects your game in some way , same goes with checking your roll after every few games.

So my question

1. How many of you guys check your EV whilst playing? or do you check every once in a while?

2. Do you think the EV line affects your play?

3. Have you ever played a month or so without checking your EV and did your results change?

I think it 100% effects your

I think it 100% effects your play, best to limit checking as much as possible.. if youre strong once a week? start with end of the day maybe

Why would you wanna check

Why would you wanna check while playing? The problem is the graph itself - not the EvLine. If you tend to tilt and your graph is going downwards, you will tilt like hell and if you tilt yo usually are mentally weak, which means that if your graph goes up you might feel as if you were invulnerable.

Playing a month without checking makes little to none sense.
