Hey Paul,

At about the 21 minute mark of this video theres a hand where u have 74 and make a straight and the vilian only has 205 chips left and you try to value bet 100 instead of his 205?  I understand trying to get value but this guy being a calling station I would think if he's calling 100 he'd call his last 205 just as easily and isn't it more important to end the match at this point?  I'd hate to see him call the 100 and then be left with 105 chips and make a comeback, right?

I begin to like your smal ball style. You take smal risks and don’t have that of a pressure on you as a aggressive player has to c-bet and 2-barrel the board. You don’t loose big amount of money when you don´t hit and get a decent amount when you hit. What are your thoughts on your play, why do you prefer the smal ball style, because everybody seems to play large ball.

Questions:

Is there any ide of trying to read the CS hand?

When he starts to push AI a bit when he has around $1000 chips, which cards would you call with (99+ AQ+), or do you prefer to take him down post flop instead?

Why did you raise the AA in this situation, usually u don’t raise any premium cards, and never 3,5BB, usually you only minraise.

Why didn´t you call his $40 bet when you had K9 and the board was 8 8 8.  I think your ahead here almost 100%.

After watching this video, I can see I'm making a ton of mistakes against these types of players.  I have a few questions on your ranges for raising preflop though.

Around the 18:44 minute mark, you pick up 77 in the BB and you just check his limp.  What's your range here for raising?  Basically villian had 660 chips at the start of the hand and blinds are 20/40.

Then at 26:14, you have AJo on the button.  Blinds are 30/60 and villian has 1140 chips at the start of the hand.  You make the comment that AJo is a little below what you would raise a calling station with.  What is your range here?

Finally, this was a regular speed SnG.  How much if any would your style change if it was a turbo?  I mean the hands above do they come into play more in a turbo?

Thanks for any comments for a great video.

Hi, I noticed that after you already concluded that he's a calling station you still usually made bets at a river which were only 1/2 of a pot although you had a monter (two pair etc.). I thought we should bet much more against a calling stations when we have a monster since they are more likely to call?

Titans01-
This is all dependent on personal aversion to risk. i try and get it in as far ahead as possible. So I'm probably looking for 99+ after he limps there. With the AJ example I'm probably shoving AQ/AK TT JJ  and raising QQ KK AA.. however this video was made a few months ago and recently Ive become much more aggressive in the endgame and started to open up my raising and shoving ranges.

Depending on how big a station he is, also normally we are getting most of the value on the flop and turn.. so I consider the river a bonus.
