audio ?!

anyone having problems with the audio of this or it's only me ?! there seem to be some kind of echo, like some kind of audio interferance as what you might get from speakers too close to mic or something, not sure what's the cause, but doesn't sound good at all.

how can you justify making

how can you justify making the price more expensive for the videopack than for the actual course? doesnt make much snese

yea, came here to ask the same question about different prices.  just isnt very well thought out marketing

I agree with oljieha,

I agree with oljieha, moreover i think that the audio/recording quality (production quality) should impact on the video pack cost.

I'm interested in buying the bernard pack but the price seems a bit high, another point is that the chadders pack is priced 150$ (discounted at 100$ for premium members in the past) and cover a similar target of audience (mid stake players). i bought it a year ago and it is very well structured and covers all the topic for beginner-intermediate players.

What should expect from bernard pack in contents? How does this pack differ from chadder's pack? And considering that chadder is an established high stake reg why does this new pack cost more than his?

Cheers

Will there be any live play

Will there be any live play of Bernard playing in this pack? Also are there plans for other coaches to be releasing hyper packs? Especially for the 100+ level? Is this pack good for that level?

I would appreciate some of

I would appreciate some of the longer members to give me the benefit of the doubt and ask a question before coming to the conclusion that this is the result of poor marketing. There are very logical reasons for the price of the pack and class. Here is some more information about it:

- The class is $210, sorry for the typo.

- The video pack is just under 4 hours and is footage from a previous class.

- The video of the November 12th class won't go on sale for at least two months.

- The video of the November 12th class is available to stream for 5 days for sign ups after the class.

- Basically, if you want to interact and ask questions, the class may be your better choice. If you want to study a video over the course of a few weeks or months, the video is an ideal solution for you. There will likely be people interested in both options, as they are different, and the prices are within 10% of each other.

- Both Chadders and Bernardc outline their approach for beating hyper turbos. Chadders made his pack when he was a solid regular in the $60s. Bernard is a solid regular in the $100s and above with over 100k in hyper profit and 400k in total profit. He's a caliber above where Chadders was at the time of his package, and that's the main difference in the makeup, expectations and price of this package.

Bernard goes through slides

Bernard goes through slides on a powerpoint and reviews some hands he previously played during the class.

He doesn't play any live play during the pack, it's an entire recording of his group class.

We do plan to have more hyper packs, several instructors are working on them but they won't be out until at least November.

It is sounding fine to me on

It is sounding fine to me on my laptop which has terrible audio (I can only put the sound up to a low to medium volume here). Does anybody else experience an echo in audio? Is it when Peter (first speaker) or Bernard (second speaker) talks or both?

ohly's picture

well, if you take a certain

well, if you take a certain sound quality where you are able to understand every spoken word as acceptable and declare it "fine", then i see no need for buying blue-rays instead of dvds for the sake of enhancing sound and video quality.

as in many videos, the sound quality is measly and could easily be enhanced with appropriate equipment. i get that in this case it might be more difficult because there are multiple participants so the sound quality inevitable decreases, but i am also generally speaking.

I don't mean it that way, I just mean that I don't hear any echo that was spoken of.

I'm sending the video to an audio expert to work on, we'll have a solution before the pack is released and I'll release previews of the edited audio to make sure it's up to member standards.

I don't believe it is an issue solvable within Camtasia Studio's capabilities.

I messed around a bit and I believe this is as good as I can do on my own (I had missed one setting I could pump up the first time). Let me know if you guys notice a difference and what you think about it please:

Ok, I replaced the OP one now, it should be better and I can apply this change to future video clips and the entire series. Thanks for the feedback on this one.

Yeah the sound is good to me.

Yeah the sound is good to me. THis is an excellent class I did with Bernard about 2 months age, all the attendees really enjoyed it.

We are looking forward to the one in 2 weeks, kind of a streamlined version of the first one focusing more on the hand reading and post flop player, and ofc new hh.

The class is filling up as there are limited space.
