In his final SCOOP $2100 series video, Barewire goes in depth about standard triple barrel spots where draws miss. He also talks about preflop 4bet and 5bet sizing when very deep and analyzes an interesting river bet sizing decision in a rare spot.
I couldn't fold J9 @ ~15 min. I understand that he check-raises nearly every flush without a pair and also 44 or 77 but it seems like too exploitable of a fold vs a good player and without solid reads. We're folding a ridiculous amount of our range if we're folding J9h on Ts7h4h8h8s and I could see him turning a busted 2-pair into a bluff or valuebetting worse. I think it's even possible that he's vbetting AhT and we only need to be good 30%. Plus, calling will give us useful information for later and an image that will discourage him from bluffing us. Do you prefer a fold today and does Mers agree with this specific fold?
I'm curious what other people think about this too because I don't make this fold vs almost anyone.
