AWEHUDv3 Available For Holdem Manager 1 FREE
The guys at AWEHUD were kind enough to release AWEHUDv3 for free.
AWEHUDv3 used to sell for $10-20. In mid 2012, when AWEHUDv4 was designed, it was no longer sold. AWEHUDv4 is currently available for both HEM 1 and HEM 2.
AWEHUDv3 is only available for HEM 1.

I don't believe that it does. Only for HEM1 I think.
works just fine in HEM2, select the IMPORT 1.0 option in the HUD settings section and you can get the hud working just fine.
People seem to forget HEM2 supports importing HEM1 HUDs...
We're going to switch out this HUD with another v3 type design. This install is a little buggy.

As someone who bought v3 back in the days, I am very disappointed that it now is thrown on the market for free and the paying customers not even are offered some kind of discount for v4.
Therefore I am not gonna spend another $ on v4.
I think you're right, if you ignore the value of time.
The HUD was available for $10-15 discounted on HUSNG.com here. We didn't even take a single penny for it for over a year, despite putting real money into marketing and advertising it (via our paid sponsorship of the 2p2 HUSNG forum and access to our community). There weren't many good HUDs around back then so we wanted to get behind something solid and see how well it could do in the community. It did well.
But it stopped being sold close to a year ago. If I made 12-36 month old videos free to view would you be really pissed off that you spent money a year ago on them? Even if I had somehow not made any money on these videos when I had sold them?
I don't think the logic is there on this one Barrin.
Ryan; the logic is the following: if I invest money in something, then I am supporting the growth. The same is true for feedback, which if applied correctly, does help to make a software better. There are much more 'beta' software out, as there are softwares marked as beta. If investing time and money leads to a further advanced version of a software that is of use to me - that is just great. If a side effect is that my 'competition' does get a free hud, it becomes less great.
It is not the same if you give away a coffee hud lite - in order to promote the 'real' software - or if you let people pay for it and give it away for free one year later.
Eventually, we are all looking for the best deal for ourselfs. F.E.: a while ago, I asked you on 2+2 if it would be possible to receive a discount on coffeehud instead of the membership that has been no use to me at that point of time. You denied and therefore lost yourself a deal - simply because pokertracker offered me, as a recurring customer, a huge discount on the existing product. If you had knocked off $20 on the coffeehud instead of $25 on the premium membership I would had bought PT4 trough you.
Sometimes it does not need much to make something way more valueable for someone. The same is true for the opposite road.
Oh and no hard feelings about any give aways of videos; 99.9999999% of the population are just viewing videos as if it were a movie and the ones who don't all ready saw the videos anyway :)
Barrin, we honestly get about $25 off PT4, so if I knock off a price I make $0. We got literally $0 for awehudv3. It was sold years ago up until about a year ago. It was sold for a discount when you bought it because that's what I negotiated (I gave up my $ to give to you).
So I mean, feedback is fine, but when I hear that sort of feedback, it really tells me "don't give discounts, because it won't build loyalty nor interest, it'll just result in people wanting more discounts."
The standard pack that comes with PT4 is a bonus. It's to help motivate people to buy through us that otherwise don't know much about us or are just getting into heads up poker. It's not like we're getting $50 for PT4 sales and we just are being dicks not giving a discount to you.
It's fine if PT gave you a $20 discount, we couldn't match that realistically and we're not expected to take sales from previous customers that bought it soon enough to get a discount from PT.
But I really dislike your view on these things because we work our asses off to give away better quality stuff than every other site charges for when it comes to these games. And because you don't get yet another discount on a product we barely get any % for selling, you come on here and just say "oh well I took my business else ware" and sort of imply that we were too cheap or greedy and lost a customer because of it, when that is totally not true and as the non staff with the most posts here you should know exactly how we've worked as far as value and pricing and loyalty has gone.
You bought the best HUD out there though 1+ years ago for $10-15, a 25-50% discount we negotiated for you. It's no longer the best HUD, the best HUD still costs money. I could see your point if it had been given away free sooner or it were given away free when it was still the best HU HUD around or even if you had bought it last week, last month or last fall. But none of those things is true. $10-15 for the best hud a year or longer ago and you're upset it's free now? I totally disagree with that and hope you see the error in that view.
It still feels as if we would not speak the same language. Therefore, I am gonna make it short; I did by no means wanna undervalue your efforts.
tried the AWEHUD3 with HEM2 when HEM2 came out and it didnt work fully, didnt show the same appearance as it did with HEM1.

We're waiting on the programmer to offer his solution to this. He wants to do something specific with this.
Yes both v4 and v3 are .exe application files (setup files for the HUDs).
