888poker charging more rake?

I am new at 888poker and i started playing their 6,40$ hypers. It should be 6$ + 40c rake. but every time i win, i get only 11,60$..... pretty weird, Am i missing something? can someone pls explain it to me?

Maybe they don't charge the rake on the entry, just on the end result.

I'm not really sure, I would pay attention to your balance before and after.

By the way, what is the structure for that buyin level? $6 + .40 for a hyper turbo is INSANE high rake. That's over 5%, and even 5% rake for any hyper turbo structure is incredibly high. Standard rates are 2-4%.

but its not as bad as on ipoker.

10/20, 20/40, 30/60, 50/100 1500 stacks, 1 min blinds, software is slow

5% fees for a fast structure.  

 

Ongame is worse.  They don't have hypers though.

USA sites actually have really good structure and fees compared to euro sites with the exception of America's cardroom (yahtah network).

same as stars, 500 chips

same as stars, 500 chips 10/20, 15/30, it used to be 300 chips but they chanegd it to 500.

5% rake, minus your 40-60%

5% rake, minus your 40-60% rakeback on Ipoker gets it around 2.5% effective rake.

888's 4% rake, minus whatever their VIP value is (probably no more than 30%), is going to end up around 2.5% effective rake as well.

Both sites are soft, and Ipoker's structure allows a little bit less edge, but it's close. Population should be greater on Ipoker, but 888 might be slightly softer.

Edit: Referring to the $20-50 levels, definitely DO NOT play that $6 level, it's the definition of rake rape!

erm it's my understanding

erm it's my understanding that 888 has one of the worst VIP programs going - for lowraking players eff rakeback is something like 2%. Im assuming husng players, even hypers, will be lowraking.
