HU Learning Goals

First i would like to say a big thanks to Jamie (MrJayOMG) who has been kindly reviewing 3 of my HHs this past week and pointed out some areas of improvement and general good advice to this newbie :).

So the things I need to work on it seems are:

- post-flop skills

- learning about board texture and when/how to bet depending on board texture, etc

- start to learn about putting an opponent on a hand range possibly

- perfect my end-game play

I won't be playing much at the moment as football is one of my biggest passions so i will be watching the World Cup, hopefully with England still in it :), so i will use this time as valuable study time.

Intro

My name is Steve and i'm 39 living in Leicester, UK.

I have been playing online poker for the past 5 years or so, on and off, but never really took it seriously and moved around between differant games on a regular basis (Cash, SnGs, MTTs, back to cash etc.) witout really putting in any sort of study with any of them.

I recently discovered HU SnGs and i must say that i may have really found my game after all this time :). As such i have decided to finally put some some serious study into HU SnGs and have brought Colin Moshmans book on HU play and have purchased a subscription to husng.com.

I will be starting out on the $5 regular speed HU SnGs and my main goal will be to study all that i can and to work on   improving my game as much as i can. I have set a short term goal of playing the $20 HU SnGs by the end of the year but this is not going to be my main focus.

So don't be afraid to say hi and post any useful tips/info that you may think relevant.
