How i lost my fun in playing poker

A few days after my last blog post everything turned around. After a $2k downswing, a little upswing and a long breakeven stretch, I am winning big again. The variance is so sick, even though the edges are really big. I won around 2,5k in the last 10 days, almost all in $110 turbo's and $200 regulars pot limit omaha sng's. It really is amazing what kind of suckers are playing these stakes, especially the $200's. Lately a lot of topnotch high stakes NLH players have been battling the omaha sng's, which i had never seen before. I have been playing with the likes of PAW717, -777BETZ-, vulcano23 and mtvdeuem the past week, with different results. Especially the first two seem to have some huge leaks. I set myself a few goals for 2011:

-  Become Supernova. I don't think this will be a problem, because i have been platinum for 3 months now, and i think i wont have any problems with continuing this kind of volume for a year.

I cleared my pokermind, and decided i will continue to play omaha upcoming year. Unfortunately i am still running like shit, but i guess nobody wants to hear me whining lol. Although this downer is really frustrating, it made me realize a lot of things. The cards dont owe you shit, and the fact you've been running bad for 20k hands doesnt mean you will be running better the upcoming ones. You should be happy when the odds even out in a lifetime anyway. Besides that, a $2k downswing is nothing on $115 plo, especially when you play people like -777BETZ-, ComptonMasta and Team PS pro's.
