Poopycock

Just finished playing my first session since last week (can barely call it that really).  Didnt play for too long, mainly because i went 3-6 and things went like absolute shit again.  I was looking up my opponents, and the combined $ loss of them all was into five digit figures.  These are the people i lose to :(  This was one of my last hands which just about sums it up at the minute:

Hero (BB): t2280   M = 30.40
BTN/SB: t720   M = 9.60

Pre Flop: (t75) Hero is BB with Kd 2d
BTN/SB calls t25, Hero raises to t1200, BTN/SB calls t670 all in

Flop: (t1440) 2h 9d Qs (2 players - 1 is all in)

Turn: (t1440) 6c (2 players - 1 is all in)

River: (t1440) Js (2 players - 1 is all in)

The Day Pokerstars Tried To Kill Me

Complete wow.  If you read my post from earlier today, i mentioned blogging about an upswong tonite - well i couldnt of been more wrong and im finally admitting defeat for the day.  I dont use any software to keep track of results or hands etc so im not sure of the definitive number of games iv played, and frankly its not a nite where im going to open up my history folder to check it out either.  If i had to have a guess id say iv gone about 4-20 for the day, with no exaggerating whatsoever.  Bear in mind this is all at the $11 level and it puts it into context how dreadful its been (+ single tabling to make it that little more staggering).  Anytime you finish a session knowing that literally pushing 100% of your hands would of shown a better profit (or lack thereof) is thoroughly depressing.

Whine Post

Preface: I know stuff like this is standard, i know there are people who have experienced worse.  I still wanna moan.

Im on absolute monkey tilt right now.  Why must 90% of my days start like absolute death? .  I had a really productive morning/afternoon and sat down about an hour ago, feeling super confident, and ready to put in alot of volume today and planning on starting to mix in the 22's again later tonite.  That was before pokerstars pulled the old fuck you manoeuvre on me.  I havent even lost that many buyins in truth, its more the manner in which i have and the idiots iv lost too.  Is there anythin more tilting than the nit who just folds folds folds, doubles up, proceeds to fold again, then douples up and rinse repeat?! I had six shots which is definitely a personal record, before i eventually succumbed.

Fun

I had a pretty fun day at the tables yesterday.  Didn't run into as many of the typical $11 limptards as usual, meaning i got to play some cool hands/get in tricky spots.  I hadn't really played a great deal since the rematch option became available again on stars, so i think that contributed to it somewhat as well.  I looked up the stats on one dude & his average buyin was somethin like $90 (pretty small sample though).  Needless to say his graph was absolute death.  I was needling him a little for playing a couple of 1k's since he was really really fishy which was fun too.  He quit after that though so i guess the lesson as always is keep the fish happy :(
