chadders0: machine overload

As always with poker blogs entries are sporadic and inconsistent. After a few consistent machine day recaps with pretty graphs I got down to some legit grinding to the point where I was even to busy to post any updates. Unfortunately, as always the case, real life decides it wants to step in the way of a heavy grind schedule - since my last post I have been forced to spend two consecutive weekends away from the table busy with friends or family. As any mental game poker fanatic will tell you life balance it key to a well rounded happy lifestyle - but fuck man sometimes I just want to grind my balls off! It's nice to see my friends and take a break from the table but I feel like I have come to a realisation of sorts. I have two lives, there's the one I'm living now, where I have just scratched the surface of what I would consider success, and there is the one that I will live after I reach the success.

chadders0: machine day 4

I will attempt to come up with a more entertaining title next time.

Today was a complete success, bang on 200 games and a good gym session. My ev adjusted graph today was one of absoluted destruction and pwnage.

chadders0: machine day 3

So I've had 3 days of being a machine and thankfully I'm not anywhere close to snapping yet. I made up for day 1's gym absence by hitting it doubly hard on day 2, which also gave me an excuse to be away from the tables for more than 20 minutes for a change which was nice.

Results wise Tuesday (day 2) was a nice rewind of monday where I lost everything I had earnt the day before, unfortuately I let my tilt get the better of me for a few minutes and played some 500 hypers against a reg to try and fast win it back but to no success (and my sense got the better of me after 7 games and I managed to walk away only spewing one buyin). It was a nice reminder that quality should come before quantity, I will be making more of an effort to take tactial tilt breaks or focus breaks now and then, with episodes of my favourite shows lined up to force me to stay away from the tables for at least 20 minutes (this week the Canadian classic "Trailer Park Boys".
